Adelaide 1966

I was lucky enough to stumble across this Video on Tumblr via Youtube it's a great little Movie on Adelaide in 1966 it runs for about 20 Minutes and for any other Adelaideans growing up in this Era it is wonderful to look back and recognise lots of the Buildings and Places, there are some other Movies on the other Capital Cities for the same time so I'll be having a look at those as well. Please reminisce and enjoy :)

Hi, you have a very nice blog!
Your quote: The Serendipitous thoughts of an Ordinary Woman is just brilliant!! I keep telling to myself that serendipity is just what keeps everything so interesting!!!

XOXO

Ah those were the days - Hindley St. sans bikie brawls & stabbings, Cox Foys with the ferris wheel on the roof, The South Australian Hotel in North Terrace (RIP), La Cantina in Melbourne St. & when a trannie was something you put on the dashboard of your car to listen to the footy!

P.S. I was 10 when this movie was made.
